Christopher Richardson, bass-baritone

Christopher Richardson, originally from Tasmania, sung at the Messiah at St Andrews last Friday. He has a wonderful powerful bass-baritone voice and it was worth going to the concert just to hear him.

I did a little sketch of him as he sang and couldn't help thinking how like he is to a friend I have drawn in Germany who co-incidentally shares the same (or almost) name.

St Andrews in Sydney

I used to work almost opposite St Andrews Cathedral in Sydney but until last night I had never been inside the building. The Cathedral is right next door to the Sydney Town Hall - another seldom frequented building. I think I have been in the Town Hall once.

Last night I heard the Messiah at St Andrews and it was definitely worth the effort of getting there.
