Heat wave

It is 35.3C at 10:30am. What is this heat good for? Painting and varnishing picture frames, that's what. My frame dried so quickly I could rehang the painting within the hour.

Changing season

How confusing. Two weeks ago it was Hamburg and autumn and now it is Dunedin (NZ) and early spring. All the rhododendrons are in flower and I am being careful crossing the road as I no longer know which side of the road to expect traffic from.
