Repurposed art

Lilies are white, Roses are pink, Both lilies and roses, Fade in a blink
Watercolour paintings that didn't make the cut land in my collage box. They are a good source of collage material. Now I am considering using them for digital art. If my  investigations of opportunities in this area are fruitful, I'll post a link.

Collages of fruit and flowers

Azaleas, an apple and grapes
(collage)
I am framing up some small works to exhibit at the local yoga center including some collage works. They said they'd  like 'colourful' work.

Collages are fun.  I am making these ones out of previous ink and watercolour paintings and the more I make, the more I want to make.

Coffeepots

Coffee pots for my coffee shop.

I framed up a couple of intaglio print and ink collaged coffee pots for the wall of my local cafe this week  There is printed music on the pots which you can't see on these images as the pictures were taken after framing ... so not the best. Creating coffee pot images while listening to ABC Classic FM was a nice respite from budget politics.

Collages for the Wagner Bicentenary

Richard Wagner was born in May 1813 and in honour of the bicentenary of his birth, many opera houses  including Opera Australia are preparing productions of his work.

Wagner: Collaged etching
I am celebrating as well and have just made series of Wagner collages using etchings. You can see the series here
